Module 5 Post 1- Signe Larson

Today we have so many products that are being offered to us we have no idea which ones to choose. So, there has to be a way that we can organize and in a sense get to know every product. Not only are some stores making the effort to have services where potential buyers can check out their product first by playing it but now we don’t even have to leave our seats of our computer to look at different types of products.
One of the websites that is dedicated to making it easier to choose the right product is www.edtechinfocenter.com.This website is a free website that offers peer reviews, lets teachers rate the products, and buyers are allowed to ask questions. This is just an example of one of the new resources that is being added to the Internet to make it easier to know what you are going to buy then buying blindly. In addition to this all the comments, descriptions, and reviews will be monitored by MGT of America Inc. to ensure that every post is informative and is not put there for commercial use. There for you should be able to know what you are really getting.

  1. Dear Signe,

I reviewed some of the websites that you mentioned. I feel that it is important that teachers not only have access to free product reviews, but websites also need to be easy to navigate. Some sites that I found during my own search were not that helpful and a little overwhelming. I also think peer reviews are helpful because then you are getting feedback from people who are actually using the products.

  2. Signe,
I looked at some of your websites as well, and they were very helpful! I think that those websites are great tools for both teachers and the future teachers (like us!) to get a hold of. I think that your sites are to the point, and very helpful. I too looked at some websites and I was totally blown away by the amount of content and the diffuculty of the site itself.
    Great job on the research!
